About Maja Larson
My current focus is using my legal expertise and experience to support the next generation of lawyers and help organizations achieve their missions.As an adjunct law professor since 2013, I teach law as a strategic business tool. My approach emphasizes clear, common-sense advice for calculated risk management and decision-making. I\'ve created educational programs for law students and new lawyers including a legal internship program that became a law school course, and a program for international in-house counsel.I\'m a former general counsel with experience spanning legal, governance, risk management, compliance, grants management, and contracts across nonprofit and corporate sectors. I\'ve built and led legal functions with a focus on practical solutions that align with business objectives. I\'m also passionate about nonprofit board service and advising startups where I can make a meaningful impact.
