Martin Jacques is one of Britain’s foremost public intellectuals. Until recently a Senior Fellow at the Department of Politics and International Studies, Cambridge University, he is a Visiting Professor and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Modern International Relations, Tsinghua University, Beijing, and a Visiting Professor and Senior Fellow at the China Institute, Fudan University,Shanghai. He was also a Non-Resident Fellow of the Transatlantic Academy, Washington DC. Martin Jacques is widely respected as a leading global expert on the most important geopolitical event of the past 200 years: the rise of China.
