ABOUT MAJA LEHNUS
Maja Lehnus has four decades of Intelligence Community (IC) experience and a three-decade track record of leading, transforming, and driving lasting results at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). She currently serves on the Board of Managers of the National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC, the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Global Security External Review Committee, the Editorial Board for \"Studies in Intelligence,\" and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Intelligence Committee. She is seeking additional Board opportunities. Her previous Board experience includes serving for three years on the Board of Visitors for the National Intelligence University. Maja is an electrical engineer with decades of experience effectively leading organizations responsible challenging missions involving a broad swath of technologies. She has worked closely with many industry and National Lab partners. She is known for successfully integrating the capabilities of 11 IC agencies to drive concrete progress against the highest priority threats and for effective financial oversight of enterprise-wide budgets. She has deep expertise in strategic planning and risk management and decades of experience working effectively with US policy makers and Congressional oversight committees. She is highly versatile, having delivered results for critical CIA analytic missions, functional areas, and enterprise-wide human capital, finance, and diversity and inclusion missions. She led executive succession planning for CIA. She has exceptional personal integrity and superb judgment as well as outstanding skills in the areas of strategic and critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, program creation and execution, relationship and team building, and communication.
