I worked in the energy industry for the past decade in different roles, from contract management, research, monitoring and evaluation, to modelling energy scenarios. The past few years in IRENA I wear the hat as an energy modeller and analyst, mainly looking into developing energy projections, datasets and data visualizations, energy models and energy scenarios for the flagship World Energy Transition Outlook, the Southeast Asia (ASEAN) region, specific country outlook reports for Malaysia and Indonesia, and recently looking into Africa. I specialize mostly in the end-use sectors, specifically in transport, aviation and shipping. On the side, I freelance as a translator for English, Indonesian, German into Malay / Bahasa Melayu since 2016 for various mediums & agencies.
