About Mainul Haque

Instead of explaining what I do as a Voice Engineer and how I help business owners in New York City, I think I should express how I got here in the first place. I remember when I lived in Bangladesh, I used to go to my neighbor’s house with my worn-out shirt just to watch the show \"MacGyver\". My neighbor was the only one who had a television in the block. I knew then that I wanted to be just like MacGyver. It was cool how he used objects and things around him to help him get out of trouble. As I advanced my career and got to work in different IT fields, I realized that I do the same things as MacGyver. I do things from run voice/data wirings to setting up Linux servers to building complex VoIP Systems for multimillion-dollar businesses. Basically, I use all the tools and knowledge I gained through my education and experiences to solve a customer\'s IT problems. I help business owners with their voice technology. I provide them cost-effective all-in-one VoIP solutions. Most of the clients I deal with are small business owners. I believe my secret to success is in impressive customer service. The fact is that most small business owners need constant support and guidance because they are too small or cannot afford to have a full time IT employee. Not everyone can handle phone technology. Even IT consulting companies outsource VoIP work to guys like me because it is specialized work. As a result, we can save clients money. For example, we have our own internal VoIP server as well as partnered with big companies like Verizon, Spectrum, Optimum, and RingCentral. The partnership allows us to lower the cost of a VoIP solution. I think the medium-sized company is easier to handle since we can train in-house IT guys to handle most issues themselves. In the event that they cannot, we can take over as a backup. Most of these companies know that once their IT guy moves on to their next job, they have someone to take over until the next IT guy takes their spot.
