ABOUT MAILEEN M.

Hello there! My name is Maileen Mamaradlo (she/hers/siya) and I believe life\'s greatest moments happen when I challenge myself outside of my comfort zone. I describe myself as a community-driven, outgoing, and passionate alum from San José State University. I grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Northern California, where I saw health disparities among underserved populations first-hand. Because of my upbringing, I aspire to be an advocate for all diverse and vulnerable populations in California. Experienced in leadership, cross-functional team management, and effective team building. I have 5+ years of experience in program management, education, strategic planning, community engagement, case management, and claim processing. I have experience working with complex project timelines, volunteer management, and partnerships, resulting an average 85% satisfaction rate from participant surveys. As a results driven public servant, I am dedicated to addressing the needs for Asian American populations and young adults (public health, higher education, nonprofits, civic engagement, and local government). I graduated Magna Cum Laude from San José State University during the COVID-19 pandemic with a bachelor\'s degree in public health and a minor in Atypical Child Studies.🤜 Notable affiliations include APALI (Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute), FYLPRO- Tayohelp ( Filipino Young Leaders Program), FAN SJSU (Filipino Alumni Network San José State University), and Braven I\'m constantly seeking opportunities that align with my values in community health, social justice, and equity. Outside of work, I spend my free time volunteering, attending local-owned business markets, baking, and traveling.
