ABOUT MAIKE ROCHON
My heart beats for the combination of two powerful technologies which is information technology and biotechnology. Especially in the light of pressing global challenges like climate change, food production or energy supply the alliance of both technologies opens the door to highly innovative and fascinating future perspectives on a sustainable basis. Within the medical sector the innovation potential of both technologies has been proven already leading to health improvements on a personalized or even individualized level. In the near future health management will increasingly be AI-assisted thus shifting from medical treatment to a more preventive approach.Originally, I started in the field of biology and entered the world of information technology and digital Health in 2011. Back then I worked as a project manager and product owner in software development for life science labs and a health bank project. Currently I work in the field of technology transfer and cluster management for the life science sector focusing on health innovations and biobased economy.The opinions and positions I take here reflect my personal point of view.
