About Maia Babbs

After 22 years in finance and investments, I founded Lariat Wealth Management in 2021 to provide tailored financial guidance and investment management to individuals, families, non-profits and institutions. At Lariat Wealth Management, my job is to help clients organize and understand their individual financial situation, establish financial goals and invest for the long-term. I provide understandable, objective advice along the way about the financial markets and personal finance. I help clients throughout their lives, particularly through major transitions such as the death of a loved one, retirement or divorce. We focus on the next generation, helping children understand investments and the importance of investing and compounding long-term. I\'ve spent my career in the financial world, starting off in bonds in New York, then working as a mergers and acquisitions investment banker here in Denver. Next, I spent over a decade as an equity analyst at large institutional asset management firms, researching companies across various sectors, geographies and sizes, and moved to wealth management in 2015. I\'m proud to be able to leverage my background and experience to help clients invest thoughtfully for the long-term.
