Mahx Capacity (they/them) is one of the original three founders, and the current owner and Creative Director of AORTA films. They are a white, fat, trans, non-binary taurean pleasure prince, obsessed with wielding queer p()rn as a tool for destabilizing pleasure, fierce vulnerability, and complex humanity. Mahx’s work has won awards in the US, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, & Austria.AORTA films is an internationally award-winning queer/trans p()rn studio that creates explicit, experimental queer cinema: lusty, opulent, glorious fuckery. AORTA has created 80+ original cinematic shorts & a feature film, as well as innovative programming including: COMMUNITY HARDCORE, a queer clip library; BEDDED, a semi-annual watch-at-home festival; INDUCTION, a series featuring cross-genre guest artists; as well as workshops, screenings, & commercial collaborations. AORTA’s work centers performers across a wide range of genders, sexualities, bodies and identities. The studio works collaboratively, prioritizing an ethical approach centering enthusiastically consensual working processes. They’re obsessed with creating hot, kinky content that celebrates queer identity and explodes with destabilizing pleasure. work has been presented at screenings, galleries, festivals, and museums across the USA, South America, and Europe. Their films have been commissioned by The Invisible Dog Art Center NYC), and supported by a grant from the Effing Foundation for Sex-Positivity.
