ABOUT MAHNOOR HAQ
I’m an Events Specialist at FIRE with a background in strategic communications, event production, and human rights advocacy. Previously, I spent over three years as a Senior Communications Associate and Producer at Global Situation Room, where I supported international programming and led guest booking for the foreign affairs podcast One Decision, hosted by Secretary Leon Panetta and former MI6 Chief Sir Richard Dearlove. I’ve coordinated interviews and panels with world leaders, former CIA directors, U.S. Cabinet members, and sitting heads of state. I’ve also produced on the ground at major global forums, including the NATO Summit, UN General Assembly, and the Munich Security Conference. I hold an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University and a B.A. in History from Wofford College, with prior experience supporting justice and interfaith development work at the Center for Social Justice and the World Faiths Development Dialogue.
