Prepare Request For Proposal for engineering services. Provide support for Engineering contract. Assist in equipment selection such as MPT and MV Cables. Provide the preliminary internal engineering needed to support the development of projects including: one-line diagrams using AutoCAD, short circuit study using ETAP, Bill Of Quantity, and the loss evaluation for cable/equipment selections. Participate in engineering/EPC calls and report to higher management. Maintain active involvement in all phases of work related to electrical design including wind turbine, AC collection system, project substation, generator lead line, interconnection switchyard and civil design. Respond to contractor/EPC RFIs. Assist Electrical Engineering Project Managers in managing agreements including Medium Voltage Collection, Project Substation, Transmission Line, Interconnection switchyard and special studies. Assist Electrical Engineering Project Managers in performing Quality Review QA/QC for the Medium Voltage Collection, Project Substation and the Transmission Line. Review Equipment Datasheets submitted by contractor/EPC. Participate in consultant and contractor/EPC calls/meetings during all project phases. Manage consultant and contractor change orders/invoices. Serve as a point of contact between contractor and procurement. Assist in construction and participate in construction monthly meeting. Assist in equipment testing and commissioning.
