The Royal Air Force Air Cadets offer young people incredible opportunities to develop their confidence, leadership, and life skills through aviation, adventure, and discipline. From flying and fieldcraft to teamwork and public service, cadets are encouraged to challenge themselves and grow into capable, responsible young adults.As a Civilian Instructor, I’m proud to play a part in that journey. My role involves supporting training sessions, helping cadets develop practical and personal skills, and contributing to activities that build character and self-belief. Whether it’s delivering lessons, mentoring individuals, or assisting with camps and events, I’m here to encourage and guide wherever I can.For me, it’s about creating a positive environment where cadets feel seen, supported, and inspired to reach their potential — both inside and outside the uniform.
