Working as a Health Equity Intern at the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control\'s (NCIPC)- Division of Injury Prevention (DIP) within the Health Equity Unit (HEU); my responsibilities include- Assisting in conducting comprehensive literature reviews and scoping reviews with a focus on health equity and injury-related topics, such as suicide, older adult falls, motor vehicle crashes, drownings, and traumatic brain injury- Collaborating on the development of impactful health equity-related guidance and tools to empower our Division and external partners in creating a safer world- Providing valuable support to the Health Equity in Injury Prevention Community of Practice, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among dedicated professionals.
