About Mahir Sadad
Guided by my experiences as a first-generation college student, I developed a passion for uplifting and amplifying the experiences of other underserved students. Over the past 3 years since 2021, I have worked as an advocate, particularly for immigrant students. Through my roles at NYC Public Schools and CUNY Central\'s Office of Student Affairs, I gained valuable experience in client success, resource communication, and program development. Using my experience, I aspire to find opportunities to continue advocating for marginalized students in higher education.
