About Mahir Kothary
I am currently a software engineer at Stripe working on the Terminal and Payments products. Prior to this, I was a Staff Software Engineer at HBO working on HBO Now and HBO Max Commerce and Billing Services. I completed my Master of Engineering at Cornell Tech in 2022 and my Bachelor\'s in Computer Science, with a minor in Entrepreneurship, at the University of Washington (UW), Seattle in 2017. During my time at UW I interned at HBO, Shippable, VMware, and IBM. At the university I was an Executive Organizer for DubHacks, Vice-Chair for UW-ACM, and Co-President, StartupUW. My passions lie in writing, cooking and digital photography, where I blend creativity, art and technology.
