About Mahfoud Benregreg
Graduated in both mechanical and maritime engineering, I have more than 15 years of experience in the offshore industry covering concept FEED, detailed design, procurement and installation aids through roles within EPIC Contractors, Developer and Engineering Consultancy. I am a certified member of RINA (Royal Institution of Naval Architects).My technical background is predominantly related to fixed and floating systems engineering and SURF encompassing structural engineering, mooring systems and naval architecture.My project management skills cover bid evaluation, tender package preparation, subcontractor follow-up/delivery and interface management.I am currently the Structural and Mechanical Lead for the Operations Engineering team in ScottishPower Renewables (Iberdrola Group). I am responsible for the long-term integrity of the offshore foundations and mechanical systems related to the Substations and Wind Turbine Generators as part of the Balance of Plant of the Group\'s Assets in the UK and Europe. This role involves the definition and revision of the O&M strategies, the technical insight, foresight and oversight of the Wind Farm projects at different stages of their life cycle (from development to operation) and the interface with different stakeholders such as Partners, OEMs, Contractors and Consultants.
