Applied machine learning techniques, including conditional variational autoencoder (cVAE) and conditional GAN (cGAN), to generate synthetic data for pressure curve and injected mass in a common rail system. Improve the decoder/generator by implementing structures for the decoder which fit the problem better. The measured and synthetic data is combined to train the final ICR (Injection quantity Control by Rail pressure) model. Conducted a comprehensive performance analysis comparing the ICR model trained solely on measurement data with models trained using a combination of virtual and measured data.
