My daily work revolves around transforming traditional on-premises ETL workflows into modern, cloud-based, serverless architectures that align with best practices in performance, automation, and scalability.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end migration of complex SSIS packages into Azure Data Factory pipelines with one-to-one mapping, focusing on efficiency, parameterization, and runtime optimization.Design, develop, and orchestrate ETL workflows using ADF components, including pipelines, dataflows, linked services, triggers, and integration runtimes.Implement Azure Functions to support automated data validation, transformation logic, and dynamic workflow orchestration for ADF pipelines.Manage and monitor data movement between multiple Azure resources such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Azure Blob Storage.Utilize SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) extensively for data profiling, stored procedure development, query optimization, and performance tuning of ETL processes.Collaborate with stakeholders, data architects, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of business rules, data governance, and error-handling mechanisms across all data workflows.Contribute to CI/CD automation for ADF pipeline deployments using Azure DevOps, ensuring consistent version control, automated validation, and minimal downtime.Conduct in-depth root-cause analysis of pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks to enhance reliability and data processing speed.Participate in knowledge sharing, documentation, and best-practice discussions to improve overall data engineering productivity within the team.Key Technologies:Azure Data Factory | SSIS | Azure Functions | Azure SQL Database | Data Lake Storage Gen2 | Blob Storage | SSMS
