Position Responsibilities / Job Description: Responsible for the Purchase of Balance of system component’s (BOS) required for all kind of solar PV Power Plant\'s. Developing new technical vendor’s, Vendors Visits, registration of vendors on the basis of vendor evaluation report. Responsible for Supplier risk management and due diligence. Preparing enquiries, Creating & Raising the RFQ\'s Incorporating all necessary technical & commercial clauses. collection of offers, preparation of techno-commercial analysis & comparative statement, Negotiations, finalization of Vendors. Representing Procurement Dept. during technical and commercial meetings & evaluations of offers. Placing of PO\'s / WO\'s, incorporating mutually agreed terms & conditions. Awarding scope of works or supply. Maintaining Pre & Post Order Procurement progress status. Expediting & positioning the goods on site expediting activities as per EPC project schedule. Expediting with vendors for vendor drawings technical documents & QAP for approval\'s. Continuous observing the progress of order in accordance with schedule. Expediting with vendors for Inspection call’s as per schedule in PO. Coordinating with Quality Team for Inspection Visit or arranging third party Inspection if necessary. Checking of Invoice and giving approval for release of payment. Releasing PRA (Payment Recommendation) as per terms & Condition of the P.O. Benchmarking -Annual Rate contract, Work contracts, Service agreements with key suppliers as per company policy. Cost Savings -Material costing, budgeting & applying cost reduction techniques. Improve working capital by extending payment terms & procuring material just in time (JIT). Coordination- Mutual Communication, feedback to supplier, vendors to ensure right quality at right time with proper Utilization of available resources with minimum inventory. Store Function- Coordinating with Store Dept for daily materials stock update.
