Mahesh is the Founder of Xformics Inc, a global company specializing in consulting on Omni Channel strategy, technology/architecture and business process to retailers as well as products for small and mid-size businesses. He is a seasoned IT executive with 16+ years of experience overseeing Enterprise Solutions for Fortune 500 companies. He has vast experience across POS, OMS, WMS, Supply Chain, Associate Mobile application, analytics domains. Previously he held the position of Director of Omni Channel Strategy and Architecture at Staples where he was responsible for leading Omni vision working closely with the CIO and direct reports. His responsibilities encompassed breaking the traditional silos within the organization, promoting cross business unit co-operation and innovation, integration between multiple systems, cross visibility of portfolios and key initiatives and leading enterprise architecture. He oversaw the Omni transformation for Staples promoting co-operation between Business, IT and CMO office driving efficiency of operations and reduced cost of ownership. In his prior stint with IBM, he led program management and architecture for 20+ large scale implementations of Order Management System (OMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). As the Chief Architect for IBM’s Sterling OMS and WMS practices, he interacted with Product Management and Engineering groups driving product innovation and direction based on customer input. He has experience managing programs of up to 300 people and $100MM in budget. In addition, he served as a member of IBM Americas Thought Leader Certification Board that is responsible for identifying and promoting leadership talent within IBM and is an IBM ThoughtLeader and Open Group Distinguished Architect.
