ABOUT MAHER ALASFAR

As a Cloud Architect for various prominent technology projects, I have enabled organizations to save millions of dollars while transforming the IT infrastructure enterprise-wide. I have Excellent logical and analytical capabilities. I have successfully driven and implemented tactical and strategic action plans for various projects and support escalations, which helped improve the virtual environment\'s productivity, performance, and profitability across the organization.Facilitated and led highly technical escalations and management conferences and communicated the results to a board audience, including non-technical teams, senior management and executives. This allowed me to demonstrate my excellent communication and strong interpersonal, relationship building and team leadership skills.I have been with VMware since 2013 when I supported the pre-sales team as a Staff Solution Architect in Canada. I helped with customers\' technical validations by conducting POCs, Demos, and Technical Deep-Dive presentations to the Enterprise and Commercial Sectors. I also pushed deals forward for Cloud Management, Operations, and Automation/Orchestration opportunities and prospects for IaaS and PaaS services leveraging the vRealize Suite products. After 9 years as a Cloud Management—Staff Solution Architect, I changed roles to join the Technical Marketing Automation Team. For the past two years, I have worked with product managers and engineering on the roadmap and new upcoming functionality, including testing, enablement, and content creation, such as Technical Blogs and instructional videos.
