The purposes of ECAPP are- To increase the diversity of views that are considered in CSIC’s strategic decision making- To strengthen connections between CSIC, its industry partners, and its broader academic network. In particular, to encourage the development of these connections between individuals at an increased range of seniorities- To provide a career development opportunity for early-career academics and professionals, through which they can meet like-minded individuals and work together to deliver a programme of activity, jointly agreed between the panel and CSIC.

ABOUT MAHENDRINI ARIYACHANDRA
Dr Mahendrini Ariyachandra is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Building Information Modelling and Management at University College London. She also serves as the Academic Chair of the CSIC Early-Career Academics and Professionals Panel (ECAPP) at the University of Cambridge.Dr Ariyachandra\'s research focuses on advanced construction technologies, particularly the automated generation of geometric digital twins for infrastructure. Her PhD, completed at the University of Cambridge, centred on developing automated techniques for creating digital twins of existing rail infrastructure. Dr Ariyachandra\'s teaching and research have been recognised with several awards, including Best Paper Awards at international conferences and a Cambridge Trust Scholarship for her doctoral studies. Her publications cover a range of topics from BIM-based project management to smart city digital twin applications, and she actively contributes as a peer reviewer for journals and conferences in her field.
