At Dish Network, I worked on the Customer Service Portal, which aimed to improve the self-service experience for customers. The portal let users manage accounts, check billing, and fix common issues like device resets without contacting support. I contributed to both backend (Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate) and frontend (Angular, TypeScript) development, while collaborating with a cross-functional Agile team.One key feature I helped build was automation for issue resolution, which reduced call center workload and boosted customer satisfaction. We tackled challenges integrating this with existing systems, but by using AWS (S3, Lambda, RDS) we scaled effectively. Overall, the project streamlined customer interactions, cut costs, and enhanced the experience.
