ABOUT MAHEEN BURNEY
Currently a dietetic intern at Wellness Workdays. Concurrently pursuing my Master of Science in Human Nutrition with a concentration in clinical nutrition from the University of Alabama. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition from San Diego State University. While actively seeking new opportunities to further my dietetics career, I am project manager and intern lead for the Weight Inclusive Toolkit Initiative (WITI), a new project in regards to weight inclusive care (HAES, intuitive eating), weight stigma, and screening/treatment of eating disorders/chronic dieting prior to MNT. I have had experience in many areas of nutrition such as pediatrics, women\'s health, sports, and fitness.
