About Khemakhem

My undergraduate and post-graduate years as a pre-medical neuroscience major were pivotal in molding my identity. They provided me with a robust foundation in the sciences and immersed me in rich clinical and research environments. These experiences not only deepened my scientific understanding, but also led to deep introspection through which I fruitfully discovered a fervor for coding and algorithmic problem-solving. From modeling thalamocortical neurons in my senior thesis to crafting utility tools for clinical scenarios, I embarked on an exhilarating, albeit daunting, journey of self-teaching in computer science. I delved into projects involving live dashboards, neural networks, data mining, LLM finetuning, and many more, each further solidifying my interest in the field. A testament to my dedication was my acceptance into esteemed Computer Science Master\'s programs at institutions like BU, JHU, and GT, despite my unconventional path as a self-taught software engineer. These achievements only fueled my intrinsic motivation to evolve as a developer, logician, and analytical thinker. As I look forward to the challenges of my master\'s program, I\'m particularly eager for the invaluable lessons that will further hone my skills, and shape my future career.
