ABOUT MAHAUT ARMAND

As a recent graduate from Imperial College London with a Master in Environmental Technology, I am passionate about finding sustainable solutions for businesses and communities. My diverse educational background and my variety of professional experiences have given me a holistic perspective on the intersection of economic and environmental issues. Throughout my education and internships, I have gained hands-on experience in various aspects of environmental management. For instance, I have recently completed a research thesis on a life cycle assessment of sustainable packaging and distribution of insect-based dry pet food in collaboration with a French start-up. I also conducted in-depth strategic market research on France and Spain and provided business development support for market entries, product and strategy for A-Gas. I have a proven track record of project management, problem-solving and a great attention to detail. I am able to work effectively with people and build a positive team spirit and collaborate to reach common goals. I am also committed to leadership and community involvement. I am actively involved as an evaluator and translator for Team for the Planet, I was a former social media volunteer for Raise Black Voices as well as a former client services and marketing manager for AIESEC Canada. I am also French-Australian and therefore, fluent in French and English, and am able to communicate effectively in both languages. I am excited to continue pursuing my passion for sustainability and environmental management in a professional setting. Values-driven companies play a critical role in achieving positive and sustainable change in our society; they can be a force of good in addressing global inequities inherent to the business world. I have a particular interest in environmental sustainability consulting, project management, public affairs, and environmental law, in industries pioneering innovative approaches to solve environmental challenges.
