ABOUT MAHATI TONK
Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and my work is dedicated to understanding what it actually takes for systems and leaders to make that possible. Over time, I’ve learned that the hardest part of strategy is not the plan itself. It is closing the gap between intention and impact. That purpose shaped my path from my career at BlackRock into public education through fellowships with Education Pioneers and the Broad Center. Since then, my work has spanned charter authorizing, cross-sector partnership, and districtwide strategy, including leading strategic planning for the nation’s third largest school district.I founded Anvaya Advisory to help mission-driven leaders bring clarity and coherence to complex work and to strengthen the human connections that make meaningful change possible. My practice focuses on strategic planning and organizational alignment, executive coaching, purpose-driven leadership retreats, high-quality charter authorizing, and partnership strategy across sectors.
