In this role, I am accountable as Asset Manager/P&L owner for the Shell UK Upstream late life assets totaling nearly 15% of production and 20% of cashflow for the entire business. I ensure approaches and processes support delivery of Shell UK Upstream’s strategy, while optimizing operational performance, and making trade-off decisions on decommissioning.Overseeing a workforce of 300 staff and contractors, I manage several hundred million dollars of annual operating cost and abandonment cost in addition to a multi billion dollor Decommissioning program.Providing oversight across all top and bottom-line factors, I manage P&L, outline vision and devise strategic asset management plans, while highlighting priorities and initiatives, in addition to monitoring commercial strategy and engagements.Developing and influencing decisions, I monitor and react to all financial and commercial activities, positively embracing and promoting change to ensure the consistent delivery of performance and strategy.
