I have a PhD with a TRL 4 ready technology readiness experience through it. Having worked on enzyme immobilization and its application in building nanosensors, paper biosensors and colorimetric biosensors for qualitative and quantitative detection of Triglycerides. I bring proficiency in literature surveys and reviewing, research design and design of experiments, synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials (nanoparticles, nanoconjugates and nanocomposites) tailor-made to specific applications. I am experienced with scientific communications and presentation, patent search and writing, grant writing and application. As a TA I managed subjects relating to bioremediation, bioseparation, instrumentation, industrial biotechnology, fermenter technology and downstream processing. Alongside this, I also have had the opportunity to work and learn the operational basics of important techniques and methods such as PCRs. Gel Electrophoreses, Chromatographies (GPC, IEC, HPTLC, HPLC, GC) with and without MS, ICP - OES, TGA-DTA, SEM/FESEM, DLS & Zeta Potential, FTIR, Colorimetry, UV Spectrometry, XRD (powder and crystal), NMR (solid-state) and AFM.I am open to consulting and advising start-ups, individual projects and pro-bono for NGOs as well on matters of bioremediation, biosensing, biomolecules immobilization, fermentation, nutrition and biopharmaceuticals.
