Assist in developing and implementing care plans, incorporating CBT techniques to supportemotional regulation and coping strategies for service users with Autism, mixed Anxiety andDepression,Learning disabilities,Demand Avoidance, Behavioral issues, Down’s syndrome,cerebral palsy and Self-harm tendencies. Provide person- centered support to individuals with mental health challenges, promotingrecovery and wellbeing. Monitor and document patient progress using defensible recording practices, ensuringaccuracy and compliance with safeguarding standards. Administer and monitor medication as prescribed, adhering to protocols and ensuringpatient safety. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, nurses and social workersto deliver holistic care. Support Service users in daily activities, fostering independence and social engagementmaintaining a compassionate and empathetic approach. Participate in training and case review meetings to stay updated on best practices forsafeguarding and mental health support, contributing to continuous improvement of caredelivery. Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies to manage behavioralissues and self-harm incidents, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals. Facilitate group sessions and one-on-one support to enhance communication skills andsocial interactions among service users with autism and Down’s syndrome, promoting asense of community and inclusion.
