ABOUT ERIC MAH
Research administration and ethics and compliance professional with over 20 years of experience in applied research, administration, and research ethics. I work with an incredible team at UC San Diego and have broad responsibility for clinical and translational research activity and clinical research administrative core units. This includes supporting a $50+M NCATS Clinical & Translational Science Award (Principal Investigator and Director, Gary Firestein, MD), clinical research, and regulatory issues. I also work closely with the offices involving industry contracts, coverage analysis, and human research protection program. I am actively involved in statewide, national, and international issues of research administration in capacity-building, ethics (e.g, research integrity, conflict of interest, and the responsible conduct of research), and IRB reliance efforts, process-harmonization optimization efforts, and best practice implementations. I am also a Certified Gallup Global Strengths Coach.
