Just starting a new engagement working with DEFRA through eSynergy as a senior Cloud DBA.Previously with NHS England, my role as a Senior Azure Cloud DBA encompassed leading a significant migration to Azure SQL DB Hyperscale, managing databases surpassing 25TB. This includes not only the migration but also the meticulous design and operational management of very large cloud databases, ensuring optimal performance. Our team focuses on cost-effective cloud solutions and robust monitoring systems, underpinned by my MCDBA certification and specialized knowledge in Azure services, ETL, and data extraction.With an extensive consultancy background in database architecture for SQL Server and Oracle, I\'ve honed a deep understanding of performance tuning and proactive maintenance for complex, high-availability systems.
