OHE supports the VHA\'s vision to provide appropriate individualized health care to each Veteran in a way that eliminates disparate health outcomes and assures health equity.

ABOUT MARGARET VIBOOLSITTISERI
AUTHOR | VETERAN | EDUCATOR | VA OHE FELLOW My published work is studied by Graduate students in the syllabi for Advanced English courses taught at Paris College of Art and SciencePo by the Creative Writing Professor, Malik Ameer Crumpler for FALL 2024/2025 curricula. For 2025, my art is showing at Dulles and Reagan International Art Gallery through 2027. My second solo work with editor Dario Roberto Dioli is housed in Fondation Bonotto and Biblioteca d\'Arte and published by Asatami Legesse Edizioni (2024). Additionally, as an Office of Health Equity (OHE) Fellow, I help share our military stories utilizing art as the great communicator. In this capacity, I boost visibility for the Veteran Affairs OHE National Online Art Gallery.Past art projects exhibited with Honolulu Printmakers at the Downtown Art Center, L’Air Arts, the Women’s Memorial, Honfleur Gallery, Dulles and Regan International Art Gallery, the Library of Congress and Embassy of the United Kingdom, to name a few. My debut \"Ashes to Ashes\" was published by Paper View Press (2021), and I\'ve contributed to over two dozen anthologies published by independent bookshops or sold worldwide, with the latest being Maintenant 18: a Journal of Contemporary Dada Writing and Art (Three Rooms Preas, 2024). The Oxford Brookes anthology received acclaim and praise from Blesma Magazine, BFBS Radio, the Royal Military College of Canada, and the Scottish Poetry Library. Other anthologies are archived at the MOCA, Poem Atlas, the National Poetry Library, and with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. My short film distinctions include Official Selection of the Fringe Festival with Army@theArts. My selected interviews are archived with British Forces Broadcasting Services (BFBS), the Office of Health Equity, the Center for New American Security (CNAS), Brookes Poetry Centre, the Poetry Archive, and the Folklore Podcast. I was a Finalist in the National 9/11 Challenge America Poetry Contest with published work presented to deployed service members through a national Operation Gratitude Campaign and displayed at the NVAM.I am a public speaker and have led tours and talks in a variety of venues, including at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial (WIMSA) at Arlington National Cemetery, the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the Writer\'s Center in DC, and as Park Ranger for the National Parks Service at Petersburg National Battlefield.See my profile at the Poets & Writers Directory:
