I was originally hired to cover Downtown Louisville development in March 2018, and I was promoted to features columnist in July 2019. My work focuses on what makes Kentucky, Louisville and Southern Indiana unique, wonderful and occasionally a little weird. I\'m also an incredibly versatile reporter, who often writes narrative stories during hard-news situations. Since arriving in Louisville I\'ve helped cover the COVID-19 pandemic, the Breonna Taylor protests, the December 2021 tornadoes in Western Kentucky, historic flooding in Eastern Kentucky in the summer of 2022 and the Old National Bank shooting in 2023.
