My personal work mission statement:*To transform communities through authentic philanthropic partnerships.*I have twenty years of experience as a nonprofit leader, fundraiser and advocate with degrees from Boston University and Northwestern College, and study abroad experience at Oxford University. My work has spanned higher education, healthcare and social services.Across my previous roles at Boston University, Seattle University, Swedish Health Services and UW Medicine, I draw on best practices in philanthropy and my organizational leadership expertise to fundraise for programs and priorities that have positively impacted thousands of students, patients and community members across our nation and world. I have technical expertise in major and principal gift fundraising, planned gifts, campaign planning, academic medicine administration, theology and moral philosophy, and hold a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential (inactive), Certified Specialist in Planned Giving credential (CSPG), and Certificate in Religion and Conflict Transformation from the Boston Theological Interreligious Consortium. I am also a professional harpist and an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
