I’m a program and policy leader with 15 years of experience designing and implementing initiatives that span international development and U.S. public health. I specialize in human-centered, culturally responsive process improvements that make systems work better for teams and for the communities they serve.Currently, I manage a national mental health program at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. My career has also taken me to the United Nations\' IOM Peace and Security Unit, Amnesty International USA as a volunteer Country Specialist for Tanzania and Kenya, and Human Rights First, where I supported both refugee protection, communications, and development operations.A Fulbright Fellowship in Arusha, Tanzania helped shape my commitment to equity-driven policy and programs that serve both refugees and U.S. communities.
