About Maggie Swanson

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with vast experience working with children, families, and other stakeholders. During my years in clinical practice, I designed and implemented interventions for children with challenging behaviors. In addition, I worked with parents and teachers though routine-based interventions, positive behavior support, caregiver training, and management of problem behavior. I have early childhood classroom experience including lead teacher in an inclusive clinic preschool. Within the school district, my roles have ranged from consulting on a behavior intervention plan to conducting functional behavior assessments. I have also worked with teachers and para-educators with plan fidelity and problem solving in the classroom. I earned my Master\'s in Early Childhood Special Education from Vanderbilt University in 2015 and my Bachelor\'s in Special Education from Gonzaga University in 2013. I hold a Washington state teaching certification and I earned my Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in August 2015. Additionally, I hold a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license within the state of Washington and an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential.
