About Maggie Stringfellow
I’m a technology and business leader with a passion for transformation and growth. With nearly 20 years of leadership in security, software, and strategy, I’ve built my career around finding the next big opportunity and leading the change necessary to make it a reality. Today, I lead BIG-IP at F5 as Vice President and General Manager. My role is all about driving innovation—ensuring our hardware and software solutions evolve to meet the needs of modern enterprises while integrating BIG-IP with our broader Application Delivery & Security Platform. It’s an exciting challenge, blending deep technical expertise with strategic execution to deliver real impact for our customers. Before F5, I was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on technology strategy, particularly in Semiconductors, Aerospace, and Defense. That experience gave me a front-row seat to industry-wide transformations and reinforced my ability to navigate disruption. Earlier in my career, I worked as a software engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and Lincoln Laboratory—two places where innovation wasn’t just encouraged, it was expected. Those early experiences shaped how I think about technology’s role in solving complex problems and delivering tangible business outcomes. What drives me the most is building high-performing teams and developing future leaders. I believe the best results come from empowered, engaged teams that are aligned on a clear mission. Whether it’s launching a new product, transforming a business, or scaling operations, I’m always focused on delivering growth—for both the business and our customers.
