Maggie Steele is a licensed school social worker, training instructor, and mindfulness educator for teens and adults. She holds a Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology and a Master\'s degree in Social Work. She is the author of How I Got My S!*t Together (2011) and #Truth Journal (2015). As a social worker, Maggie is dedicated to bringing trauma-informed, healing-centered, and anti-oppressive practices into schools and organizations that serve adolescents. Whether teaching, training, mentoring, building out social and emotional learning programs or developing curriculum, Maggie is committed to improving transition outcomes for all youth and supporting them in cultivating self-compassion, self-efficacy, and an unshakable knowing that their being here matters.
