ABOUT MAGGIE MUSSO
Maggie hails from Cleveland, Ohio and is currently a psychiatry resident at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She graduated from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in 2020 with her MD, as well as a concurrent MA in Bioethics and Healthy Policy. She received her Bachelor Degree in Theology and Arts and Letters Pre-Health from the University of Notre Dame in 2016. During her time at Notre Dame, she developed a passion for working with and serving people with mental illnesses. During her senior year, she worked as the intern in the Division of Student Affairs on projects related to student mental health and was honored with the 2016 Student Voice of Mental Health Award by The JED Foundation. Maggie continued to develop her medical and psychiatric knowledge throughout medical school as an intern with the non-profit mental health advocacy organization, The Kennedy Forum, and as the co-director of a new wellness curriculum at Stritch. Maggie has also played the piano for seventeen years, gaining crucial experience as an accompanist for The Singing Angels from ages 13-17. She has recently accompanied at many churches in the Chicago and Cleveland areas, and served as the Music Director for Notre Dame Vision in 2016.
