About Maggie Rosemeyer
I am a Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison double majoring in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies. I participated in an internship at Achieving Collaborative Treatment (ACT) this past summer where I conducted ABA behavioral therapies for clients on the Autism Spectrum. This job taught me patience, compassion, & empathy for individuals with all different kinds of abilities. It provided me with an eye-opening experience that taught me more about the field I am working in and increased my passion for helping people. I have worked at Wando’s Bar & Grill in downtown Madison for almost 3 years now. I serve as a shift lead and bar manager, overlooking staff morale and work ethic. I am also the Social Media Manager for Wando’s, which takes an immense amount of creative networking and videography. This job has taught me customer service, work ethic, and determination which allows me to create a positive, fun, and inviting work environment for my coworkers. I was a licensed Nanny for about 4 years taking care of children of all ages throughout my summers. This has taught me resilience, responsibility, and maturity to care for children of many different ages. I am a very outgoing individual who loves to meet new people and gain experience. Through my job experiences, I have accumulated many traits that have made me who I am today. I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain during my second semester of Junior year. This experience truly changed my perspective on life and promoted more personal growth than I could have imagined. This journey enhanced my cultural awareness and developed adaptability through the new environments and experiences I was exposed to. In high school, I was nominated for National Honors Society and Restorative Justice. I joined the Interact Rotary Club, Student Council, and PRIDE Crew. I was a 3 sport athlete in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track & Field.
