About Maggie Ringey
My passion for service has taken my career in a variety of different directions - from serving as a Youth Development Volunteer in Peace Corps Ukraine, to helping people find the best fitting job for them as a recruiter, to developing and running a successful AmeriCorps program. Throughout all of these opportunities, I have focused on building strong professional and personal relationships with colleagues and clients. I love being able to help those that I work with grow and develop new skills and find their passion. It is an incredible honor to be included in a person\'s professional journey and I take pride in the fact that I have been able to help a variety of people throughout my career.

As the Program Manager for the Harbor Homes Recovery Corps, I am responsible for managing all facets of a new AmeriCorps Program; including fiscal management, communication with partner host sites, and employee relations with AmeriCorps members- In this role, I am also responsible for ensuring that members, host sites, and program staff are compliant with all rules and regulations of the program and of AmeriCorps- I continually recruit members to the program through grassroots recruiting at local job fairs, events, and through referrals by partner host sites- Additionally, I am responsible for monitoring the data provided by AmeriCorps members and compiling reports on the member activities that will then be presented to grant funders- I maintain trusting and strong relationships with host site supervisors, members, and community members by ensuring transparency in all communications and providing information in a timely and accurate manner.
