About Maggie L.

Life is where we come together to help each other, and time is one of life\'s greatest gifts. It\'s one of your most valuable resources, there never seems to be enough of it, and you can\'t ever get it back. My gift is simplification. I have an extensive background in process engineering and project management. I\'ve worked in chemicals, electric utility, medical devices, extrusion and printing, and Oil & Gas R&D. None of these industries have time to be held up by complex processes, and neither do you.I bring order from chaos, confidence from concern, and deliver faster outcomes by simplifying processes. Terms such as \"planner, decisive, detailed\" and \"driven, practical, direct\" and \"mentor, empathetic, patient\" and \"analytical, inquisitive, practical\" describe me. I walk into project meetings with little background information, make immediate connections, unearth true feelings, convictions, and gaps, and then make impactful suggestions that reframe the issues to enable the team to move forward past the hurdle; usually faster, cheaper, and with fewer headaches.Life is give and take, hard, beautiful and worthwhile. It\'s where we grow and learn, and the only way to learn is to try. Sometimes you give more than your fair share simply because someone needs your talent. And you do that because you know that when your time comes, someone will show you an easier way to do it, something you didn\'t know, and give you a different perspective to consider. This is how I live my life. This is why I share my gift. How would you like me to help you spend your time? While you\'re thinking about it, I\'d like to leave you with this poem by Heartsill Wilson. The Beginning of a New DayThis is the beginning of a new day. God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. What I do today is very important, because I am exchanging a day of my life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever, leaving something in its place I have traded for it. I want it to be a gain not a loss; good not evil; success not failure; in order that I shall not regret the price I paid for it.
