ABOUT MAGGIE LINDROOTH
I have served as the U.S. Director of the American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) since July 2024. In this dynamic and multifaceted role, I supervise a bilingual (Mongolian/English) staff of four, oversee the development and implementation of international educational programs and partnerships, manage organizational budgets and finances, and lead institutional and individual fundraising efforts to diversify the organization\'s funding portfolio and revenue streams. This role also allows me to blend my decade of experience in the nonprofit and international education sectors with my passion for and knowledge of Mongolian and Eurasian Studies, which I further honed by earning my M.A. in European and Russian Studies from Yale University in May 2024. I also have a passion for creative and performing arts including music, theater, and dance, and my extensive background in these areas allows me to lead collaboratively and tackle even the most challenging issues with creativity and empathy.
