ABOUT MAGGIE JONES

As Associate Director of Qualifications and Partnerships at CIM I work as part of a dynamic senior management team which aims to to create marketing advantage for the benefit of professionals, business and society. I originally joined CIM to manage the UK study Centre network heading up a team of three Education Partnership Managers in January 2012, the role became extended as a result of an organisational restructure in June 2013. In 2016 I also took responsibility for the qualifications team who manage the operation and quality of the professional qualification product portfolio. The role includes management of the accredited study centre network of course providers in accordance with regulatory guidelines as defined by Ofqual. As part of this role I also manage a team which regulates the activities of the regional volunteer network in accordance with CIMs’ constitution. My team of managers are responsible for developing and implementing CIM qualifications across 90+ study centres and 70+ universities. The role requires knowledge of quality and assurance procedures across the study centre provision and ensuring governance of the regional network. As an Associate Director within a matrix based organisation I am also involved with company-wide projects relating to the development of qualifications (launched April 2014), production of supporting study material to underpin that provision and also as Brand Champion to support the implementation of the values and principles underpinning the new CIM brand – launched October 2014. The qualifications portfolio has recently been extended to include a new Digital Diploma in Professional Marketing.
