For more than two decades, I have worked with the NACM Heartland membership in a number of capacities. As I grew in my role, I have added responsibilities including those I have today, which include: • Overseeing the marketing/communications efforts.• Facilitating credit exchange groups.• Growing credit exchange group and NACM Heartland membership.• Organizing and planning educational sessions. This includes engaging speakers and setting up the logistics.• Managing the board of directors, including working with the president to set agendas.• Being the key liaison between the association membership and their vendors.NACM Heartland is the premiere resource for credit professionals in every industry. We work with our membership to develop the skill sets necessary to navigate an ever-changing business climate. A NACM Heartland provides access to critical ongoing educational opportunities, important products and services, as well as the ability to network with other credit professionals. All of this is to ensure our members are ready to meet the financial goals of their companies.
