With 14 years of experience in higher education, my journey has been marked by a dedication to supporting students and programs while fostering connections that enhance educational and career opportunities. At AmeriCOM, I am excited to contribute to a national initiative aimed at addressing the critical shortage of skilled technicians in the precision optics manufacturing industry. I will facilitate communications across our ecosystem, which links educational training programs with industry, nonprofit, and government partners. I will provide support to teams at training sites, represent AmeriCOM at key events, and coordinate outreach to inspire careers in optics manufacturing and increase enrollment in training programs at community colleges nationwide. My background in higher education has equipped me with a deep understanding of student services, program development, and effective communication. I have always been driven by a commitment to enhancing educational outcomes and expanding opportunities. As I step into this new role, I am eager to leverage my experience to contribute to a meaningful initiative that aligns with my passion for education and workforce development.
