Central SHEQ TeamAs a Business Process and Quality Manager within the Central SHEQ team, I lead the development, digitisation, and continuous improvement of business processes that underpin safety, health, environment, quality, and operational excellence across the organisation. My role is pivotal in aligning our Integrated Management System (IMS) with evolving industry standards, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation goals.I am currently spearheading the digitisation of key SHEQ processes, including inspection test plans and permit systems, with a focus on enhancing functionality through features like geolocation, AI image verification, and dynamic dashboards. These innovations are designed not just to replicate existing workflows but to close procedural gaps, improve compliance, and drive smarter, data-informed decision-making across regions.My responsibilities include- Designing and implementing scalable, standardised processes across regional and national operations- Collaborating with subject matter experts and digital delivery teams to ensure that new systems meet operational needs and regulatory expectations- Supporting GDPR compliance and data governance in the development of digital platforms and audit trails for appointed persons and safety-critical roles- Contributing to national initiativesPreviously, I worked extensively with the Operations & Maintenance teams in the Waste to Energy division, where I developed and maintained business management systems to support the efficient operation of power plants. This experience laid the foundation for my current work in process optimisation and digital transformation.
