Localization Manager by day, Language Specialist by night. Hi! I am Magda and I am a passionate and seasoned Language and Localization Expert and aspiring International Product Manager who understands the importance of both linguistic AND cultural adaptation for successful global expansion. I help companies define their localization strategy, select tools and run localization projects. I am also their Polish voice to communicate with Polish audience and offer multilingual products that look and feel as if created locally.My journey and know-how:From language tutor and linguist, to translator and localization engineer - my 15+ year career in the language industry has been a fascinating journey from the “front-end” of localization (language and what directly meets users’ eye) to the “back-end” - processes, systems, tools and configurations. This allows me to have a wide perspective on multilingual content creation and see it from both a vendor’s and a buyer’s perspective.Having technical knowledge required to handle localization of digital products, I specialize in transcreation and localization of websites, apps and software. Being familiar with technical communication and principles of plain language, I also have experience in translation of user documentation and more \"restricted\" content. Client- and user centric approach:I carefully listen to my clients to make sure I meet their requirements and adapt to their business goals. This approach translates into trust and building long term relationships which is of great value to me. By focusing on users and creating products that better resonate with them, I help companies not only enhance user experience but also increase their value proposition.Communication and flexibility:Markets and customer preferences can change rapidly, and so can localization requirements. Working in fast paced, agile environments has equipped me with the ability to respond swiftly, to prioritize and adjust strategies of content localization.
