We wear many hats daily in our company, but mine include:• Managing the ever-growing Data & Algorithms team to design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML algorithms in a cloud-based real-time environment, while ensuring robust RAQA documentation at every step• Multiple accepted FDA 510(k) filings for devices and software algorithms, including 2 new AI/ML PCCP authorizations, making Epitel a leader in regulated AI• Multiple patent and IP filings for sensor design and EEG algorithms• Large-scale, long-timeline planning and execution of software development in collaboration with consultants and internal full-stack teams• Multiple peer-reviewed publications and public-facing product documentation• Research and development of real-time electrographic seizure detection and alerting algorithms from wearable sensors, using Python machine learning and AWS infrastructure• Computational neuroscience EEG signal processing and analysis for clinical NIH grants and global partnerships• Deep Learning algorithm development for polysomnography sleep scoring using Epitel’s Tessa 2-channel EEG device• Manage clinical trials and internal/external testing for device and software feasibility, validation, and FDA clearance
